All the FAQ's
Welcome to You CAN Paint! When: March 28th & 29th How do we connect live? All participants will receive a Zoom link and a reminder the night before the class. What do I need to do to prepare? Watch the Supplies Video and gather whatever supplies you can. At the minimum you need paint, paper, paint brush, 3 cups of water, and paper towels or rags. What if I miss a lesson or fall behind? Join us whenever you can. It’s amazing to be able to paint live together. You can’t fall behind, all you have to do is show up whenever you can to paint. Each painting lesson can stand on it’s own, and You CAN Paint, with whatever you have! What about the Color Theory Lessons? These are simple color theory lessons. You take the colors that you mix and make little paintings with them! Easy as that! What if I don’t have the right colors? Show up with whatever you have and I’ll walk you through how to use them. There is NO way to do it wrong!!! Can I share it with others? Please spread the word. If you refer a friend or family and they sign up, let me know and I’ll send you a gift! Can I share my log-in with someone else? If you are in the same household - such as a spouse or children, yes. If you are inviting a friend or family member from another location, you each need your own log-in for the course. If you are in different households, each person needs their own course membership and log-in. Are Children Welcome? Yes, Children are welcome! They must be accompanied by an adult! The children will teach us to be fearless, if you have them, bring them! Your Zoom audio will be muted so that you and your children can play, if you have questions you can put them in the chat or ask live :). What if I’m a complete beginner to painting? You are WELCOME, you won’t feel like a beginner after this class, guaranteed!!! What if I’m an experienced Painter? Is there anything in this for me? YES, you will be inspired to make little paintings that will help expand your creativity and nurture your own personal style. You will find ease and joy in painting and learn how you can paint every day, no matter how little time you think you have. Attend with Beginners Mind and you will go far!!! You will be an inspiration for the beginners. Classes with experienced painters and beginner painters are so powerful, because we lift each other up and you get to remember what it’s like to be beginner! Giving the beginners the experience of what can happen when you nurture your craft everyday! What if I don’t have time to paint everyday? I promise you, you DO have 5 minutes to spare. If you spend any time on social media, watching TV or just paroozing the internet or even YouTube, you can take 5 minutes from that time to paint! If so, I can teach you how to paint in as little as 5 minutes a day without any cleanup! What’s the Vibe of the Group? “Good, Good, Good, Good Vibrations” - Bring your excitement for learning and your virtual pom-pom’s to cheer everyone on. I was NOT a cheerleader, but I love the idea of supporting one another in an enthusiastic way! Bring your energy and your desire to learn and support!
