Gelli Plate Printing Workshop
Tuesday, November 2nd at 6pm MST
Friday, November 4th at 6pm MST
Sunday, November 7th at 10am MST
Have you ever wondered what the Gelli Plate Printing excitement is all about? This ‘mono-printing’ and ‘ghost printing’ process is enjoyable for all levels of artists, from beginners to advanced artisans. Your artistic fulfillment is IMMEDIATE and the prints you make will surprise and delight you.
Join us LIVE and Online to explore hands-on the endless options and opportunities to make unique art works effortlessly. Nicole will share with you the basic tools you need to become an overnight master of this craft. Nicole will demonstrate numerous processes, and after each one you will explore and play with your own version.
How does it work?
Once you purchase, you will receive the full supply list along with the Zoom link for the class. Treat this like a LIVE class and ATTEND on time! Nicole Will demonstrate, and then watch as you create your own. This is an interactive LIVE Zoom class in which you can ask your questions and Nicole will help guide you to success with this process.
But can't I find something like this on youtube or other craft channels?
Yes, you can watch as someone else creates and sit on the side lines. There is a very different process when you take these tools and apply them immediately, you then create the experience for yourself. It's easy to sit back and WATCH videos of OTHERS creating, but how about connecting with a great group and an interactive teacher to EXPERIENCE it for yourself and to start CREATING Art instead of just watching it. You will also be encouraged by others in the class and have an experience of doing this craft. Another benefit of setting up and doing the class from your own home is that you are then set up and ready to continue doing your new art. Have you ever taken a class, and it ends JUST as you feel ready to dive in deeper? Of course I love live classes, but with everything going on, I'm grateful to be close to home and to connect with you Live Online in the comfort of our own homes and studios. Nicole can also give you tips and tricks to make sure you stay on track with your art progress by creating space to do it often!
Our last Gelli Art class was so much fun, that no one wanted to stop! Join in the fun and don't miss out on this amazing and versatile art form that will give you endless possiblities for creation.

Supply List
Gelli Plate - any size, I will be using 6" x 6" to demo
Brayer - this is used in printmaking, A small 2-3 inch brayer is just fine, larger will work as well
Acrylic Paint - you can use inexpensive acrylic paint for these pieces, please have the following colors as a minimum: Red, Blue, Yellow (primary colors) plus Black & White... we can make endless colors with just these 5. You are also welcome to use whatever acrylic paints you have or to also buy your favorite colors pre-mixed.
Copy Paper - Yup - just plain ol' copy paper will work for this. At first a smooth textured inexpensive paper works best, We will discuss other paper options at the class, but you are welcome to have a lineup of other papers to try such as construction or colored paper, cardstock, deli sheets, textured paper etc.
Baby Wipes or Soap and Water - I used non-scented water wipes to help clean up after messes, you can also have paper towels or a cleaning cloth ready. Have access to water or bring many cups of water with you to the class.
Table Covering - Cardstock, thick paper or non-stick surface to work on - We just might make an art mess, so be sure to work on a surface that is easy for you to clean up and that won't be ruined by paint or splashes.
Apron - If you want to make sure you don't get any paint on you, wear an apron
Once you sign up, Nicole will provide you with a supply video so that you can see the supplies in action and know what to get.
Looking forward to seeing you in the class, The possibilities are endless!
