I do love to create, I believe that I have more ideas than I have days left, and I'm ok with that!
I've been an artist for most of my life. Some people call it 'getting into the zone'... I call it therapy and life!
I love the process of creation, it makes me feel alive! Most of my early work has been destroyed in one way or another, I'm ok with that too. There was a teacher I heard about at an art school that would have his students work all semester on projects and then have him burn them. I was once afraid of a teacher like that, until I became that for myself. I don't agree that work SHOULD be burnt or destroyed, in fact most of it is beautiful and deserves a place to live. It's a process, a life process, just like us. 2020 has been a year that will change history, I'm now reflecting on it to see it's gifts. The gifts I find are in the relationships I know to be true and the work that comes through me, a best friend to journey with. We say our hello's and goodbyes, we laugh and cry together, we can be ourselves... to me... this is friendship, and friendship is art.
